Whatever
tuition is for, start it early, and spread
it evenly over the time available. Done that way,
tuition provides most benefit to the student.
For example, suppose a student needs
10 hours of tuition to prepare for an exam. All 10 hours
could be on the day before the exam, or they
could be one hour each week for the 10 weeks before
the exam. The second alternative is far better. There
is time for ideas to sink in, and time to return to
troublesome ideas. Nor would losing a tuition session
through illness be a disaster. If necessary, another
session or an extra session can nearly always be fitted
in. |
