The
reasons are as varied as our students. Personal tuition
can compensate for a badly-performing school, or it
can be used to go over work missed through illness.
Some students do not get on well with their teachers,
and others lack confidence. Knowing how to deal with
exams is a problem for some students. Medical conditions
are occasionally a reason why conventional teaching
is not realistic. Some parents elect (as is their right)
to have their children educated at home.
For any of these reasons, personal tuition
can make a big difference. The concern of the tutor
is to meet the needs of the individual student, in a
way that suits that particular student. |
